#1 GOOD LIGHTING
Good lighting is very important if you want the best quality illustration of your pet. The better the light, the more details and colors our artists can see. Which results in a better quality illustration to go to print. Upload a photo which has good lighting.
#2 THE POSITION OF YOUR PET
Try to get a close up of your pet so you get the most detail. Them sitting down or standing up photos tend to work the best. When your pet is lay down it's harder for our artists to create the best artwork. We've found a photo taken directly in front of your pet works the best. Photos taken from overhead don't work that well. Also remember to get all their head in the frame including their ears, especially if they're especially pointy or floppy. Our artists can only work with what's in the photo.
TIP 3 - TWO'S A CROWD
Take a photo of your pet without any other animals in the frame. Only one pet per photo please. If you'd like to have 2 pets on one product, we can do that no problem, we would still need 2 separate images though.
Important Note: We quality check all photos once you've placed your order with us. If we find an issue with your photo which could affect the finished artwork i.e. lighting or positioning, we will email you. However, if we don't hear back within 3 working days, we will have to proceed with the photo you originally provided.
STEP 1 - TAKE A CUTE PHOTO
Take a photo of your pet. You don't need any fancy photography equipment for this, a recent smartphone camera will do just fine. Or you use a good quality photo which you already have.
STEP 2 - PICK YOUR PRODUCT
Once you've chosen your photo, it's time to select your product from our range. Then once you've decided what to order, simply upload your photo and checkout.
STEP 3 - UNWRAP AND SHARE THE LOVE 💕
Now's the time to enjoy your newly commissioned, unique piece of art featuring your beloved pet. Just imagine when it arrives in the mail, you open your parcel and your heart bursts with pride and joy. Show it to your pet and see if they like it :)
Take a photo of your new unique pet artwork and show your friends how photogenic your pet is. Your friends will go crazy and ask you where it's from. Tag us in on Social Media if you take any pics. We would love to see the photos.
